Toscano Palace Luxury Rooms Catania

I had the loveliest 3 night stay at Toscano Palace! I am female and staying alone so it was so important that I felt safe, and I couldn’t have felt safer. Breakfast was lovely and so personal each morning, and the host was always at the end of the phone if you needed him. Like other reviews mention, the Piazza outside can be noisy at night (not an issue during daytime) but with the balcony doors closed it is not an issue, there are also ear plugs available if you need them. The location on the Piazza however is perfect with cheap taxi’s/Uber’s, lovely restaurant and day trips on your doorstep. The room is absolutely stunningly designed, the bed is so comfy and big, the spa bath in the room is amazing with a separate large shower room, it has everything you would need for a lovely trip. Unfortunately, on the last day my flight from Catania was cancelled due to Etna erupting and Toscano was fully booked, so I have had to stay elsewhere for a 4th night in Catania. I have paid more per night at this new place and the value for money is nowhere near that of Toscano Palace. When I am next in Catania I would be more than grateful to stay at Toscano Palace again :)

Large room with very high ceiling - historical feel.

4 doors to open to get to room, stairs, whilst he was pleasant, we found it strange that room was entered when we were out. Air con turned off. No option of “Do not disturb” sign. Air con was average and the place was very noisy most of the night and day.

The location is very central. Close to airport. Rooms very clean.

There is no lift to get to your room. Staff not always present. Central Catania noisy.

The room was very nice, clean and spacious!! The host was very polite and helpful!! 😊😊 Recommend it!!
