Wasn't spacious as advertised, double bed mattress was uncomfortable, flat was cold, tried to turn on central heating but didn't know how to control it, I think they should leave instructions on how to control heating, however a small electric heater was supplied in each room which I used, otherwise basic compared to other bnb I've stayed in. Also, I've stayed in some posh bnb and never been charged a security deposit, and the fact that I had to wait 3 working days after checking out before I got my deposit back is not right, as they didn't have to wait to receive it. Overall, it's OK if your looking for something basic for a short stay.

"NIGHTMARE! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"

Location was good for purpose of stay but would never stay again.

Booked this place for 2 nights. One bed was broken (totally sunken). There was no excuse for this because previous guests have mentioned the 'broken bed' in past reviews, the owners just simply hadn't bothered to replace it. The throws on the sofa and beds were unclean and smelt. The bathroom was filthy and desperately needs updating. Was hoping for a nice relaxing stay however the very first morning after checking-in (10.04am), we received an email from the owners/host telling us that a Gas Safety Engineer needed access (that day) to the property to carry out the Annual Gas Safety inspection (these take at least 30mins). We pointed out that we were paying guests and did not want to be disturbed. Furthermore the owner/host did not make us aware of a Gas Safety Inspection prior to our booking. The arrogant owner/host wasn't taking 'no' for an answer and proceeded to spend the next 3 - 4 hours bombarding us with messages demanding access to the property, despite the fact that I told them that it was not convenient. The harassment over access to the property, that we paid good money to stay in, was relentless. We felt threatened and uncomfortable, the whole situation made our stay extremely unpleasant, so much so, that we checked out a day early. See photos of property & screenshots of the hosts harassment. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Booking.com should remove this property from their listings.
