"Book here if you want accommodation with no towels! Are people suppose to carry towels with them when booking accommod"

Where do I start. Whilst I’d prefer to leave constructive reviews this booking has left me mind blown. I want to start off with what shocked me the most, what is a complete given and a basic when booking anywhere to stay is to be given towels. I contacted the host the evening of my stay, asking where the towels are … I received no response. I had been travelling I would have appreciated towels to shower before getting into bed. I contacted the host in the morning again, the response I received post check out was ‘sorry about that, thanks for letting me know’. Firstly the most rational and human response to give is not that response but to have brought us towels and given us somewhat compensation for this. Booking.com should be ashamed to be having hosts that are not ready nor adequate enough in dealing with customers/providing a service. I booked the studio around 10pm to stay at that evening. I received a call from the host telling me the property would only be available at midnight. I was happy to go ahead at this point as I was travelling from work and would get to the property around 11.30-11/45pm. However I was a little concerned as to why the property is open on booking.com if it was in fact not ready? This isn’t Airbnb. Other constructive feedback…: A green light was constantly on during the night. We could not turn it off. It was super bright. The studio was small so it covered the whole room. Would be great to not be sleeping in what looks like a nightclub. London in December we all know is extremely cold. There was the tiniest heater which did not cover or heat up the whole property so there is no central heating in this flat. The front door opens straight into the living room/ bedroom area. So very cold and the floors were freezing. The property is new and cleanliness was fine but I suspect this is due to the fact that the property hasn’t had any guests staying there.
