Room big clean and comfy

Decor quite random… rooms nice but bathrooms dated and some very odd “trying to be quirky” artwork… but in old, tired wonky frames which are really irritating to face in the bar area. Parking is an additional cost, Breakfast is expensive. Both should be included in room rate

The Breakfast Was comprehensive, lots of choice and all nicely cooked. Hotel was super clean, rooms were really comfortable. Hard to fault to be honest.

I got a large room with air conditioning on a very HOT weekend. This was the only hotel in 3-days to give me aircon. However, the controls for the aircon were a bit of a mystery to me. It was nice to be able to eat my evening meal and my breakfast outside

It wasn't easy to locate this hotel off the roundabout, and I missed the turning and had a long drive to get back around. A sign is needed. The water in my room was impossible. Getting the right temperature out of the shower seemed impossible and the stream of water wasn't very good when it came out. The bathroom sink only ran at about one third the expected rate, and again it seemed difficult to get the desired temperature whether hot or cold. I suggest this hotel is due for a refresh.

Had a wonderful time with my family. The room was nice with a small fridge which was very handy. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choice. We had evening meals, the children's menu had a good few options. Zucchini fries, tomato soup, mac and cheese followed by the chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and chocolate ice cream was their favourite. I tucked into the pork belly bites and pork ribs which was delicious. Orange and lemon water available in the lobby. The pool and sauna area were not too crowded and we had a lot of fun time in there. They single off half the pool for children and families and the lane swimmers. Ample parking at £5 per day charge. Lovely hotel.

The drawer in the room was broken but it was fixed the next day. No problem. Even though the air conditioning was on the room was a bit too warm but we are having a bit of a heatwave right now which is down to nature.
