San Giuseppe Luxury Apartment

Wonderful location, clean, and spacious. The interior decor is pleasing. The host was wonderful, friendly, and helped me with my luggage too.

It was a bit disappointing that there was no washing machine and lugging the luggage up the stairs was quite the task. The confusion with the keys also could be helped if the keys were labelled. Every time I went in and out I had to fiddle with them for quite a while.

We had a friendly greeting by Daniele and excellent assistance by Cristina during our stay. The apartment is beautiful and a convenient location. We will be back!

We loved everything.

Staff were great and were very helpful, very conveniently located in Ortigia. Also the property is very beautifully done.

The square is sometimes used by bands who play loud music past midnight. The shower unfortunately didn’t work properly while we were there and it wasn’t able to be fixed during our stay.

Fantastic location and stylish, comfortable accommodation

Sehr schön, gross und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider fiel die Wasserpumpe gleich am ersten Abend aus. Wir hatten fast kein Wasserdruck und so duschen und Haare waschen war mühsam. Die Vermieter haben sich gekümmert und nach 4 Tagen konnte die neue Pumpe ausgewechselt werden. Wahrscheinlich für italienische Verhältnisse eine Meisterleistung. Leider konnten wir nur 1x davon profitieren.

Nichts ausser das Malheur mit der Pumpe.

The location is well situated in Ortigia. Close to restaurants, shops, the waterfront but on a fairly quiet street. I appreciated having an iron and ironing board :) The suite is quite spacious with some lovely decorative touches. The windows/doors are good quality and block out most of the external noise that occasionally happened.

The water pressure for the hand held shower was "adequate", we weren't able to get the rain shower to work (likely because of water pressure). The water pump is constantly running so expect low level noise from that. Having said that, it is italy and likely an infrastructure situation. The lock at the main entry was tricky and really should be replaced.
