Hartbeespoort Cara-glamping self-cater units

We had a comfortable stay with our family. The facilities met our expectations and were appropriate for the budget.

The quiet space for adults, the farm animals, horse riding, zip lining, and the braai stand for the fire was awesome for kids. The trailer was spacious and just a good experience for first timers.

The kitchenette by the trailer didn't have running water...washing utensils by the bathroom was kind off gross.

Very beautiful location,close to Harties.

No fridge,had to eat out every night. Was provided a coolerbox.

Loved the glamping vibe it gave, we were initially looking to camp but it came in handy. Loved the nature surrounding it as well as the few animals inside the yard. It also wasn't far off from the activities we wanted

The host wasn't so nice. Firstly upon arrival of the first crew, she took out all the towels in the Caras and when we asked why she said they're a not a guesthouse and they don't provide towels to their visitors. Secondly, she said we need to pay a R300 key deposit for each Caraven. Thirdly, we were told that we can't walk around the yard and towards the reception wearing pyjamas and not wearing bras as ladies and there was no answer when we asked about the ladies that don't own bras at all, as to what must they do in that regard. Fourthly, fleece blankets and blankets were not allowed outside the Caravens as cold as it was at night. Lastly, on checkout she delayed us for almost 50minutes, we had to wait for her to come inspect the Caras we used and take the keys. All of the above mentioned was not disclosed prior to us booking or at least before arriving at the place as we were constantly communicating arranging check in and other stuff.

Such an amazing place , very peaceful and the staff are so so friendly . Accommodation was just awesome and very convenient. This is the place you want to be!
