It has a great location, situated in a park.

The property is going under huge renovations. The owner was not clear on its state before arrival, eventhough I have asked several times. The tap water was undrinkable, had a yellow/brown color. Also the lack of doors were rather uncomfortable.

This booking needs to be taken down immediately and booking.com won’t refund our stay. Firstly, the booking did not specify that the entire building was covered in scaffolding, and that there were construction works each day from 7AM to 7PM. As a result of the works, our balcony was completely covered in scaffolding, dust, debris and cigarette butts. We were unable to open the curtains to let air in throughout the day, which was an issue due to the 32C temperature days and lack of air conditioning. The flat had two fans available, one of which did not work. When I asked for a new fan, my request was ignored. As well as the lack of balcony access being a health risk due to the debris, it was also a security risk as any other tenants on the property had access to our balcony. Also, the property is directly on a train line. When our balcony doors were open at night for ventilation, it was impossible to sleep due to the loud brakes of the trains. In addition to the point of the balcony doors, we could also not open them as the building has a sign stating they are doing “rat baiting” and that there is an ongoing issue with rats on the property. Finally, we were notified that our check in had to be delayed by 2 hours half an hour before check in because “the cleaners were late”.

Honestly, nothing I like. The location is so bad. They weren’t notify us that the area is under construction. The balcony partially full of rubble. The place is dusty. And the list goes on.

Great location for Rapallo, though the frequent rail traffic makes the apartment extremly noisy.

Firstly, the condition of the apartment does not match the photos available on booking.com. Secondly, the apartment complex is being renovated, which was not even mentioned prior arrival, this made our stay extremly unpleasant, as the whole building was shaking. We contacted several times the customer service of booking.com and the local agency. Sadly, initially the aganecy denied the fact that there were ongoing renovation works. The customer hotline of booking.com was not helping solving this issue at all just telling the usual phrases. Eventually, the local agency admitted having lied but ignored our further questions and contacts. Please avoid this object at all costs if you wanna get ripped off and receive an inferior quality for your vacation.
