Exceeded expectations. Lovely accommodation with great use of space. Clean and with all the facilities you would need. Incredible views and fantastic location, with easy access to everything. Would definitely book again.

Maybe a small table to take outside (like next door has) rather than the drop down table which could be a bit awkward. Couldn't find a toaster.

Location excellent. Host very helpful. Interior very unique. Nice location to walk around quiet pretty town, easy access to Valetta by ferry (5 minutes ride).

Unfortunately, our stay at Seagull Birgu was far from what we expected. The apartment is built like a narrow tunnel, with barely any natural light and hardly any windows. The second bathroom had serious issues: whenever we turned on the fan, the circuit breaker (FI) would trip shortly after, leaving the entire apartment in darkness. Since the place is so poorly lit and narrow, getting back to the entrance in the dark was quite a challenge. The bathtub was already damaged on the side when we arrived. One of the two showers only had freezing cold water, even when set to 50°C. The supposed benefit of a second bathroom was basically useless. The entrance door situation was very inconvenient – it consists of two separate doors with different keys, making entering and exiting unnecessarily complicated. The second bed is just a fold-out murphy bed located in a hallway area. Once unfolded, you can’t use the closet behind it. To get to the kitchen or exit from the other bedroom, you have to pass through this makeshift sleeping area. The door to the main bedroom didn’t close properly either. Lighting throughout the apartment is cold white and not inviting at all. All these issues combined meant that any supposed advantage of two bedrooms and two bathrooms was completely lost. Had we known all this in advance, we would never have considered booking this place.
