Indian Adventures Tiger Moon resort

We travel frequently throughout the world and understand the difference between budget accommodation and luxury accommodation. During our current trip around India, we have stayed in a variety of hotels, ranging from high-end resorts to lower-cost accommodation, and have generally had excellent experiences. We booked Indian Adventures because the description and photographs on Booking.com suggested a relaxing, comfortable stay where we could unwind for a couple of days before our tiger safari. The price was comparable to other good-quality accommodation we had recently stayed in. Unfortunately, what we found upon arrival was completely different from what was advertised. In our opinion, the property is significantly misrepresented on Booking.com. The photographs and descriptions bear little resemblance to the actual condition of the site. Rather than the welcoming retreat portrayed online, we found a run-down and poorly maintained campsite that fell well below reasonable expectations. We were unable to cancel and move elsewhere because we had travelled approximately six hours by taxi to reach the property and had already booked a tiger safari for the following day. We therefore had little choice but to stay overnight. However, we left at the earliest opportunity at 7:00am on our second day. The location is extremely isolated, accessed via a rough dirt road, with virtually no alternative facilities nearby. Transport appeared to be controlled through the camp, with taxi fares significantly higher than those we encountered elsewhere in India. We were only offered return journeys, making it difficult to arrange independent transport. The following issues were experienced during our stay: • No shop on site to purchase water. • Nearest restaurant approximately 5 km away and only accessible by taxi. • No drinking water provided in the room. • No toilet paper supplied. • Towels were old, stained, and had to be replaced.

Очень понравился отель. Хороший персонал. Хороший просторный номер. Неплохая кухня. Много живности вокруг, кругом бурундуки,птички, неподалеку лангуры.

Prachtige locatie, dichtbij het nationaal park. Ruimtelijk opgezet. Prima ontbijt. Mr. Saigal is een voortreffelijke manager die veel voor ons geregeld heeft, terwijl anderen zeiden dat het niet mogelijk was. Ook regelde hij voor ons een late check-out in een schone kamer!

Het resort is ietwat verouderd. Maar daar betaal je ook naar.

La seul chose que je peut dire c'est la douche un peu compliqué à utilisé et la clim qui fuit mais déja orévu une serviette en dessous donc tout va bien

The proximity to the entrance of the safari venues which makes it prwctical after a rarly morning safari

A "refreshing" touch would do only good to fix all those details that show the age of the resort. As for the breakfast which was tasty it is in need of a variety especially to tempt the international clientele.

The whole complex, the rooms and facilities were beautiful, cozy and nicely kept. We were especially happy about the rooms which were clean and spacious. Hot water was working just fine and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor area is just beautiful and very inviting to relax in between safaris. The food provided was delicious and offered various choices. Especially the little shop that is located at the entrance of the hotel was super nice. Here we found good quality items such as textiles and the staff working here spoke good English and was super helpful with everything. It was also possible to organise transportation here and you could pay by card.

Only two members of the hotel staff spoke enough english which was a little difficult sometimes when they were not around. In general, the staff was helpful, but it was often necessary to ask for the same thing multiple times before it was done. Also there is no card payment available for international cards but in the end it was possible to pay via PayPal, so that was fine. As it's a family' friendly hotel, it was noisy during breakfast and dinner times at the restaurant.

Incredible location for safari and bird watching. Located right behind zone 5 of ranthambore and plenty of bird life to see around the property during the day and to be heard at night. The staff were brilliantly helpful in organising transport and additional safaris

Once or twice the arrival of organised transport was cutting it to the wire (a bit nerve wracking!) but all worked out in the end and just to emphasize the staff were all lovely!!
