Away from the crowds, direct access to sea, good cleaning service, freshwater shower at the beach

Overpriced coffee (illy pods, impossible to buy anywhere else), difficulties keeping the house cool (only the bedrooms had airconditioning, which turned off, when we left the house). Our bungalow was a too sunny, not enough shade (we were with a 1 year old baby). Wifi could have been better - but was working.

When we arrived (after a long flight) we were greeted with a warm welcome from Brigitte which made us feel at home straight away. Throughout our wonderful stay we always felt looked after and we had space and tranquility to enjoy the beautiful setting. Our chalet was situated in front of the warm calm sea. The former coconut plantation held a peaceful,enchanting ambiance and the glorious bird song in the morning and evening was very uplifting. The self catering facilities were efficient for us to produce tasty meals. We rented a car because we enjoyed exploring the island. However I noticed some guests simply enjoyed the get away from it all feel of the place and didn't go far. We were lucky enough to have the palm tree lined beach to ourselves most of the time as we were there just before the peak season. Thank you to Brigitte, her husband and family for such a special holiday.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location right on a very nice beach (perfect for snorkeling), nice chalets, calm, bus stop and small shops at just a few minutes walk.

This is a detail because we are overall very positive about our stay: although it is self-catering, having some basic stuff (e.g. salt in the kitchen) would be nice. Same for the toilet paper, just add a new roll when the first two are finished. This doesn’t cost anything.

This is the place for tranquillity on Mahe. Quiet holiday villas step away from beach. All basics are well covered. Best if come with car though public transport access is also possible. Some of the best island beaches and locations are in 10 minutes driving range. Also I'd like to note fantastic communication and efficiency of this long-standing family business. This is place to get away and be off line and down with paper book for days.

Everything! We loved it so much, the beach on the doorstep was the best part. It was extremely peaceful and reaxing. The sunbeds by each bungalow were so relaxing. The property was extremely well maintained all the way from the gardens to the bungalows themselves. It was our favourite place we stayed on our honeymoon!

The place is probably best accessible by car, you would be best off renting a car.

Apartment was clean and well equipped, host nice and helpful. Its in a quiet part of the island, right on the beach, fresh coconuts in the garden as a bonus ;-) Ideal for a few days of peace and relaxation. Also suitable for families with children because of big and safe garden. Nearest take away and grocery store about 5 minutes by car.
