Waterfront Villa Retreat, Langebaan

Love everything about the house. 100/10!!! Spacious and cozy. We didn't have to wait on one other when it came to using the bathrooms. Beds were comfy, and rooms are stylish and comfortable. The beach is near and It was worth the price, it's really another home away from our houses. The staff was friendly and on time. Great service. I will definitely come again. Thank you, Mariella!! 😊

Spacious and comfortable house with well equipped kitchen. Very close to the beach.

The property is not right on the front and has no sea views, although is within easy walking distance of the beach. The time to collect keys was very specific which may be difficult for some.

The hospitality of the host was exceptional on arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and so much more. You have to experience it for yourself words cannot do it justice. 😆

The place had everything you would need to have a perfect break away 🙂 and more....

Spacious home

We were very disappointed with our stay. The name of the property suggested a waterfront villa, and the online photos gave the impression of expansive sea views. In reality, we were accommodated in a concrete block overlooking neighbouring properties. There is a distant sea view from the top level, however this area had scaffolding poles positioned across the floor, which made it awkward even to hang washing. The overall presentation did not match the expectations set by the listing. The lounge suite was covered with throws and fabric, and several kitchen and storage cupboards were chained shut. This created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made the space feel restricted rather than comfortable. After raising our disappointment with the owner, she seemed surprised by our feedback. Some of the photos were subsequently removed, although we were told that beach images were permitted in the listing. It would have been helpful if it had been made clear that the beach photos were not taken from the property itself. Overall, the experience did not align with how the property was presented online, which was a huge disappointment.

The villa was spotless, beautifully designed and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area felt safe and peaceful, and it’s perfectly positioned close to local restaurants and shops. One of the best parts is the private beach access literally less than a minute away. It’s the ideal place to relax and unwind. Our host was fantastic, warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
