Guests highly rate the great location and frequently praise the lovely hosts.
GBEverything you could want for a short break. Spotlessly clean and in a great location for exploring north Norfolk.
GBGreat location in a nice village within walking distance to a couple of pubs, a shop and cafe. Good sized accommodation with everything you need, 2 double bedrooms and a nice outdoor area.
Nothing!
GBLovely cottage in a great location. The owners are on site and very helpful.
GBStayed for two nights midweek, with my wife and two grown sons. Weather put paid to our plans, so ended up staying in cottage most of the day. This was a very cosy place to stay and happy to stay in with all the facilities provided in the cottage. Could park car safely outside cottage, which is a must for me, no on street parking. No issue's with the dental practice next door. Key safe and WiFi code provided on completion of payment. Will definitely use it again and highly recommend this cottage.
Nothing, everything was spot on.
GBThe kitchen is adequate with lots of cutlery, crockery and utensils, although there was no pair of scissors anywhere and the toaster will only take thin sliced bread. The lounge has a sofa and comfy chairs but is a bit dated and we weren’t that impressed with the Afro-Asian souvenirs! The TV is fine and the wi-fi works well but there is no clock in the place. There are two large bedrooms with double beds. One had some wall hooks on which to hang coat hangers and a chest-of-drawers. However, the mattress was a bit soft for our liking so we chose the one at the rear of the property. The bed was very comfortable except that the mattress made the loudest metallic creaking noises that we have ever heard! It was impossible to roll over or get out of bed without disturbing the other person.
I make no apologies for this lengthy review which I hope the owner takes some as constructive criticism and that future guests are forewarned about certain aspects of this property. We had to telephone the owner the day before we were due to arrive as we had received nothing from her and needed instructions or directions and were told that she sends them out the night before but it would have been good to have had something a couple of days prior to departure. We arrived at the time the owners requested, unpacked and settled in but there was no form of welcome, personal or a Welcome Folder, despite someone last year suggesting it in the Visitors Book, that it needed instructions on how to use the appliances, and what to do about recycling. We worked out how to use the electric fire in the lounge and the oven and hob but the extractor fan over the hob completely defeated us! We also left what we felt was recycling beside the waste bin. I had cause to telephone the owner later in the first evening but there was no welcome then, nor question as to whether we were OK. It felt that there was little real concern for guests. The shower room is the size of a small en-suite. The basin is very small indeed and, besides a small shelf with the owner’s bits and pieces on it and a little cupboard under the bowl, there is no storage and so it means living out of toilet bags. Not great for two people but for four? We used the rear bedroom which had a platsic tube and canvas 'wardobe' which felt unstable, so we didn’t overload the hanging rack. In the middle of the night there was a minor explosion and the wardrobe had collapsed. We reported it and the owner came around that evening and we cleared the mess and I suggested that it needed a proper wardrobe but she said ‘I don’t want a wardrobe, I’ll put up some hooks’ – but would a guest want one?
GBLocation very good with lots of amenities close by.
Lighting up the path to the property. Bathroom sink very small .
GBLovely bedrooms and great kitchen, nice bathroom and plenty of room and parking, great location for exploring the area particularly for the bird watching sites.
It was early March but the bathroom was rather cold. The living room chairs weren't very comfortable.

GBSpacious bedrooms. Cosy sitting room. Good shower. Very clean.. Ideal location to be close to family at Christmas.
Communication from host could be improved. Would benefit from instruction booklet with WiFi password etc. No outside light, had to use phone torch to locate key safe on arrival.
GBGood location, close to local amenities. Clean and good facilities. Met exactly what we wanted for a quiet few days away.
All really good, but needed a welcome/instructions sheet in the guest folder, and a pair of scissors.
