Ambassador Ajanta Hotel, Aurangabad

The grounds of the hotel are vast and well laid out.

The hotel staff did not care to respond to multiple phone calls and emails from 25 Dec 2025 till 8 Jan 2026. I booked two non-refundable rooms. I wanted to cancel the second room booked by mistake. Eventually, I had to take two rooms even though I did not need the second one, all because the hotel ignored my messages and did not bother to acknowledge Booking.com request on my behalf.

Ambassador is a nice, comfortable base for exploring Ajanta and Ellora. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great. The pool is a nice place to chill after a day of walking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. 3PM check-in is extremely late, if you happen to arrive in the morning. But we could chill at the pool and even got coffee and tea and our room was ready much earlier...

The neighbourhood of the hotel is not that great.

Buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel had atmosphere and charm.

The rooms are pretty good - The staff was excellent - very helpful - Food was great I stayed here for rest at night while driving with family from Rajnandgaon to Pune - But hotel was so good that I prolonged my stay.

Nothing much except a little early complimentary check in provided by them.

The hotel did not seem to justify Star rating or review scores. looks little dated. We were checked in with hardly any checks on readiness missing like Proper remote, Functional TV, hand towels , Locked room Safe ,Bath Mat, House keeping supplies and the worse was delayed or even no response from House keeping. Even the Number was not picked up. The garden maintenance, Pool were disappointing. Even the parking was not a valet or well organized. Even the food quality at breakfast or of room service was below par.
