Beautiful, well-equipped apartment in picaresque village near Barnard Castle. Blissfully quiet. Host communicates quickly and is very helpful. Village has probably the best restaurant in the area - the Rose and Crown

"Superb stay"

Fantastic location. Very comfy and very well equipped. Ideal for a couple who req 1bedroom. Lovely converted stone barn. Will definitely return hopefully for a longer stay. Excellent pub just up the road with lovely food.

Some folks with mobility problems may have trouble with the steps to first floor apartment so in that case book the ground floor. Not a problem for the majority, not a problem for us.
