Stergios Suite with Private Jacuzzi

The keys were in the door, but we were met by a lovely lady and shown into the flat. Stergios, the owner, is a lovely, friendly man. He tried his best to help us when we expressed an issue and gave us information we asked for. The air conditioning was a must and kept us comfortable. It was lovely to have a fridge-freezer to freeze half-bottles of water for the following day’s excursions. There’s a supermarket in driving distance and shops/restaurants in walking distance.

The bed was very hard. We asked if there was such a thing as a mattress topper, but that clearly isn’t a thing in Greece. So, they opened out the sofa bed, and put bedding on it, which was mildly less slab-like than the bed. We slept very poorly and have resolved to purchase a large travel mattress for future trips so that we aren’t caught out by this issue. The kitchen could do with some additions in terms of extra crockery and glasses - there were only 3 highball glasses, no wine or pint glasses. Clearly, and understandably, there have been breakages, but replacements are needed, especially since the studio can sleep 4 people! A set of kitchen knives is desperately needed - there are only flimsy steaks knives to use to cut anything. No cook’s knife or bread knife either. A chopping board would be great as it’s awkward trying to use just plates and I’ve never been comfortable prepping directly onto a worktop.

The place was clean, new, well organized.
