The staff were extremely helpful and lovely, very clean good size rooms for 2

The double bed was two single beds pushed together so not so comfortable for a couple and there was construction across the street so early morning noise which was not the Hotel‘s fault.

Stanza molto spaziosa, pulita ed in una ottima posizione vicino a Gion. La stanza più bella del nostro soggiorno!

L’hotel non ha reception 24/24 : 1) avevo letto qui su Booking che era possibile spedire le valigie ad una altra struttura invece quando ho contattato l’hotel non mi è stato proposto ed anzi mi è stato detto che a causa della reception limitata di far in modo con il corriere che le valigie arrivassero nelle fasce orarie coperte dalla reception. A quel punto non ho spedito nulla per il terrore di perdere le valigie.. 2) per il cambio asciugamani devi richiederlo in reception ma quando uscivamo e rientravamo non c’era mai nessuno quindi siamo riusciti a farlo solo una volta. Magari per gli asciugamani si potrebbero inventare un altro metodo per agevolare le persone.

Good location. Clean. Rooms more spacious than typical business hotel chains.

Spotty internet with intermittent drops and lots of trouble establishing initial connection. On check in, staff accidentally charged me twice and asked me to bring card down for refund but staff was not present in the morning to do the transaction. I was instructed to go to their sister location only to be told that they could only perform the refund at the original hotel and no one could help me there until 9AM. The whole process involved going back and forth and wasting close to an hour of my time, ultimately causing me to be late to a business meeting. The error was theirs and their staffing issues further exacerbated it. I understand that mistakes happen, but I wish they could have been more accommodating in helping address it and I honestly felt they could have been far more apologetic about the inconvenience. Interactions were conducted in Japanese and I didn’t get a 申し訳ございません or so much as a すみません for the 迷惑. Just a brusque 前の場所に戻ってもらうことになります. Not what I expected from Kyoto’s legendary hospitality…

Habitación amplia y cómoda. Bien ubicado. Bien de precio.

It was such a beautiful room, cosy, comfy bed, AC, shower & bath and a tv. Better than all that it’s located near lots of temples and shrines, basically right next to a station for easy access to other parts of Kyoto. It was great.
