ITHotel bellissimo, moderno e pulito. Camera grande, spaziosa e zona bagno/doccia tecnologicamente avanzata. Situato in una stradina secondaria vicino a un piccolo fiumiciattolo molto suggestivo. Zona ottima vicino ai mezzi (sia metro che autobus) e a una ventina di minuti a piedi sia da Kawaramachi (centro moderno di Kyoto) che da Gion. Personale molto disponibile in tutto ma soprattutto per la spedizioni dei bagagli da un hotel all'altro.
Unici difetti il letto non molto comodo e che nella nostra camera dalla finestra proprio sopra al letto idi notte passavano molti spifferi gelidi.

USThis hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood only blocks from the Higashiyama Train Station, but also within walking distance of the Gion and Nishiki shopping districts. The Hotel Legasta Kyoto Shirakawa is a small hotel, and sometimes there is no one at the reception desk, but there was a way to contact the sister hotel located a few blocks away. The room was small but functional, and the double bed seemed more like an American queen size. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, and the bathroom was functional. Staff was helpful; one even walked us to a local restaurant that she liked.
Some of the streets kind of close were dark and felt a little unsafe to be walking at night, but overall the area the hotel is in felt walkable at night.
ITJPLovely boutique hotel located in a very local Japanese neighbourhood. Located right next to a small shopping street, wandering the area will give you an idea of what day to day Japanese life is. Basic English is spoken, keep your level of English appropriate to the staff's level and you will have no problems.

USEasy to find from the station and right in the heart of a fantastic district of Kyoto. Front desk staff were extremely kind, including one receptionist who even recommended us a fantastic ramen spot. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
The air in the room was pretty stuffy, enough that we had to leave the windows open which attracted mosquitoes.
