PALAZZO RINUCCINI - MANGIA Apartment

The apartment is very nice, newly renovated of high quality. It is on the 4th floor and an elevator is available. The bedrooms are not very big but the view is rewarding. The kitchen, dining and sitting room have ample space. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 at the main area and one in the attic (it has an ensuite bathroom). Access to the attic is not very comfortable since you have to use a steep ladder... For a party of four however it is fine!

The host is actually a company. They never respond to any messages sent through Booking platform. You have to contact them through whatsapp. On bank holidays they do not work and they do not respond. The messages they send you prior to the arrival have only to do with how much they charge you if you arrive for a late checkin, if you leave the dishes unwashed etc. No information on how to reach the apartment, where to park your car or how to call a taxi. They did not even know what kind of coffee maker they had. Last, in the kitchen you will find everything that the previous tenants left. An opened box of salt, some coffee capsules, a half-empty bottle of oil. Kitchen sponges provided were dirty and heavily used. It is a pity for such a beautiful apartment!

Location & space

This property is 5 star living in the heart of a medieval walled village. It was extremely well appointed, comfortable and well located. We were sad to leave!

The local practice of drumming meant the noise was challenging, despite the triple glazed windows. The drumming often continued into the early hours of the morning, so beware. But this is not a negative on the property, just an overall comment about the experience.
