The apartment is bright and spacious. Very clean. All electrical appliances are in good working order. Beds are comfortable.

L'appartamento è semplicemente fantastico! È tutto completamente nuovo. La pulizia era impeccabile in ogni stanza, il che ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Inoltre, la posizione è ottima: comoda per spostarsi e ideale per esplorare Funchal senza stress.

Spacious and well-furnished apartment with modern equipment and a large kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator, washing machine, and dishwasher. The location allows a walk to the harbor and city center in about 15 minutes, which is convenient.

On the downside, the apartment is situated directly on a very busy main road with no sidewalk, making access uncomfortable and requiring extra caution when leaving the building. Natural light is extremely limited: both bedrooms face the road and rely on opaque external shutters that remain closed, leaving the rooms permanently dark. The living room only receives light from a small terrace, but the surrounding walls are very high and block both light and any view. Additionally, the apartment had noticeably high humidity. One bedroom had a musty smell, and visible moisture marks on the walls suggest previous water damage. Despite the apartment appearing recently renovated, several basic but important details were missing, particularly in the bathrooms. There were no towel hooks or wall fixtures and very limited options to hang towels, which significantly reduced everyday comfort.
