I recently stayed at Asko International and while I appreciate the courteous and well-behaved staff, I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the overall condition of the room, which was far below acceptable standards for any guest accommodation. To begin with, the room was extremely unhygienic. There were cockroaches crawling in multiple areas. This alone made the environment uncomfortable and unsanitary. Further adding to the poor experience was the bedroll provided, which was stained and visibly unclean—something that reflects a complete lack of basic housekeeping checks. Moreover, the air conditioning unit was noisy and barely functioning, making it difficult to get any rest. It is disappointing that such basic facilities—cleanliness, pest control, fresh bed linen, and a working AC—were neglected. While the staff was polite and tried to be helpful, their good behavior cannot compensate for the severe shortcomings in the room’s upkeep and comfort. Until such issues are resolved, I would unfortunately not be able to recommend Asko International to others or consider staying here again myself.
