The apartment is great and extremely clean. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and nice. The location is very convenient, right in the center of the city. The host is communicative and helpful.

The apartment is located on the ground floor and opens directly onto a parking lot. I only got about two hours of sleep because people were standing directly outside the glass bedroom door until at least 4am, talking and laughing. They weren't being particularly rude or loud -- just normal friends hanging out with a few beers on a Saturday night in a spot I'm sure they thought was secluded. But the door window isn't thick, so it sounded like they were in the room with me. At one point, I did poke my head out and ask if they could not lean against the glass door to my bedroom (slapping their hands against it when they laughed). They were apologetic and clearly didn't realize they were pounding on someone's bedroom window, but they didn't leave. Then around 6:30am on Sunday, an older lady appeared outside to begin sweeping and cleaning the area. Again, she wasn't particularly loud, but she was less than four meters from my bed, so the banging of cleaning buckets and the sound of her talking to herself as she worked and greeting people who passed sounded as though she was in my room and woke me up. A bit after 7am, people began arriving and parking for the day, some with screaming children. It was just not a particularly quiet location, and the layout of the apartment doesn't dampen the sound in any way. I don't think there's much the host can do about this, but I also don't think I would choose to stay in this apartment again. This is a pity, because the apartment itself is so comfortable and well-located.
