Ishii-san was so helpful and answered all our questions about the bus system. She also helped us go to the grocery store in addition to picking us up from the Takahara rest stop. She was very helpful and sweet and accommodated our early start too! Highly recommend getting dinner and breakfast! Both were so delicious and beautiful!

I wish this had been directly on the Kumano Kodo trail, which we were there to hike. But it was nice to see the different parts of Takahara.

Lovely host, lots of attention to detail. Everything was beautifully presented and thoughtfully put together. Can't thank Aki enough for the transfers to and the kumano koda trail. Thanks for getting some items left behind to the next accommodation. Very kind and thoughtful host she hasn't missed anything. It's a quant great place, comfortable beds and so much more
