Acorn, Central Windermere Apartment

The apartment is in a stunning location .Clean and extremely Cosy.The bed was very comfortable .The apartment is central to all restaurants.cafes and bars. A short walk to the bus stop and car park.There are plenty of shops to browse There is a co op and Sainsbury’s local . You must try a Pork pie from the award winning local butcher.A real treat . We also brought home Cumberland sausages,Greek breast of chicken and Lamb chops in mint sauce .All amazing. It is a short bus ride to Bo’ness where you can enjoy scenic boat trips The bus service is regular in fact we left the car parked and used the bus We will be definitely be booking again . You can’t fault the apartment or the location

There is nothing to dislike

It was clean and tidy and warm. The location was very convenient, the car park just a very short walk away.

There was some noise and light from the nextdoor restaurant kitchen as their door was open next to the apartment. That's outside the apartment owner's control of course but it was a little loud if you like an early night. The step outside the apartment could do with having its edge painted, for better visibility.

Perfect cosy little apartment, very thoughtfully packed with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit x

Could not fault it

Small but beautifully presented - perfect for our short stay in the lakes. Lovely and cosy, fab bedding too Great communication throughout too!

We loved the location for exploring the area. The car park around the corner meant we could park up on Friday and didn't need to return till Sunday for 21 quid, which is brilliant, especially considering your location. The apartment had everything you would ever need for a wee break.

Honestly nothing. The only little niggle I had was on the morning of out departure we wanted a long lie and to chill before packing the car and heading home but we had a lot of noise coming from upstairs which just frustrated us but not by any means a fault on the apartment.

Excellent location Tv not working but everything else was great

The location was amazing. Excellent for exploring the town and near the car park. The apartment was very clean and ideal for a base for us as we headed off each day walking. The apartment had everything we needed.

The bed was the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on. The chairs in the living area are not great and they were very uncomfortable. After a day walking the fells we were looking forward to going and chilling and watching a movie but it wasn’t a very chilling movie night. Totally out of control of the owner but the noise coming from the apartment above was horrendous. It sounded like they were having a party and people were running around all evening. We could not chill and it did spill our stay. I’m assuming there is no sound proofing in the building at all. Due to the bed and the noise we did not come away feeling retested from a weekend stay away but extremely tired from the lack of sleep

Location is great. Parking is just down the road . The apartment is cosy and easy to find .

The only issue i had was the bed is hard . And I mean hard. There's enough room for two. Not much cooking space but there is plenty of places to eat .
