A bit noisy

Very central location, comfortable and newly fitted out.

On arrival it seemed a little strange - the studio is a converted shop unit on the ground floor. I arrived on my own and felt a little vulnerable but there was no need. Despite being mid-summer it also proved quiet.

The accommodation is very nice. The interior is already upgraded. It is just few steps to everything. Location was excellent.

Property is not soundproof. You can hear loud noise of people passing by. Specifically at the middle of the night. And you can’t do anything about that. The property manager is very prompt in answering my messages. It’s hassle when kitchen sink had a water leaking to the floor and we can’t use the sink. We have to use the bathroom sink and it’s not convenient for us. I hope they can fix it before their next guests.

We made breakfast in the room.

The wifi code was not part of the communication that provided us with the key box code--at least I couldn't find it. A workman who works on this row of apartments happened to be nearby and provided us with it. Also, we were not familiar with all the appliances and he showed us how to start the stove and how the coffee maker worked. While we were there the dishwasher started without our intentionally trying to start it, and ran until the night while we were asleep. We couldn't turn it off. It would be very helpful to have directions to using the appliances in the room.

I am very pleased with my stay in this place, I will definitely come back. Clean, in the city center, it was not noisy even though the apartment is located next to a parking lot. Good curtains ensure complete darkness for sleeping. I can easily recommend it

It was an excellent location within walking distance of all major places in Reykjavik. It was nice to have an oven and range top.

This was converted from a store front recently into an apartment. They left the large window and kept the same door. It was like you didn't have a wall between you and outside which meant it was very noisy. Another problem was the TV. There was no remote after contacting them it took 2 days to get the remote. After getting the remote and turning the TV on I realized the TV had never been programed. You needed account numbers and such. I didn't even bother asking for that so the TV was never used. Overall it was ok had some plusses but also lots of drawbacks.
