Diocletian wine studio apartment II

Right in the middle of of the city center, easy walk/access to everything. Spacious apartment, excellent AC!

It was very cooling to be inside as there was no sunlight coming in so it is perfect for the summer. There was sufficient kitchen supplies for quick cooking and the bedding was very clean.

There was noise right outside the apartment till late at night as there are pubs and restaurants close by.

if you are very noise aensitive, there is some noise that gets through

Air conditioning, shower, quiet, and comfortable bed. Everything was perfect, even an iron. Fantastic host.

Dim bathroom vanity light is the worst thing I can write. (This can be adjusted by opening the shutters during the day.)

We received good instructions for check-in. The room was in a great location, really clean and well equipped (for example, it had all the kitchen utensils and a straightener in the bathroom). It was amazing to stay in the quarters of Diocletian's palace.

In the rainy weather, the room was a bit damp and there wasn't really a place to dry wet clothes. Otherwise, everything was really good.

Perfect location, quiet despite being in the centre and near some noisy bars that we couldn’t hear at all inside, comfy bed and everything you need from a studio apartment

It was a great location in the heart of the old town. Had a good security lock on the front door Had a nice coffee machine and plenty of pods for it

My heart sank when i walked in to the apartment as my first thought was that it was really dark with very little natural sunlight. The window had a scruffy old cream and brown net curtain at the window that wasn't seen in their promotional pictures. It's quite an old fashioned room that is made to look much nicer in the pictures for example they show floral hanging baskets at the entrance, pretty cushions on the bed, ornaments etc all of which were not there. It was like walking in to an old ladies apartment. It's also above/next to quite a loud bar that goes on until around 12.30am. I was also disappointed that the host didn't met us on arrival. I didn't find the bed or pillow comfortable (an extra pillow would also have been welcomed as the one supplied went flat as soon as you put your head on it) We also couldn't get the tv to work and the shower ran out of hot water half way through. Sorry, not for us which is a shame as Split is beautiful and we had a great time, just found the apartment a bit depressing and disapointing.
