No load-shedding Spacious Apartment

Excellent location, lovely spacious apartment with everything we needed.

The location, amenities, the host

The location was perfect for us. The layout and furnishings were lovely. The feeling of being secure when staying.

Small things and given in the hope of being helpful: The quality of the towels was way below what you’d expect for a luxury apartment. Also I had to ask for fresh towels as we were staying for 9 nights. These were provided. The information booklet advice: this is not really an issue as wine is very reasonably priced in shops and restaurants around but disappointing to be told there’s a gift of a bottle in the fridge - there wasn’t. The booklet also advises that washing tablets are provided - there was none but we did buy a tub and left what we didn’t use. Finding the pool was a challenge - we are told it’s rooftop. It is actually across the small car park visible from the apartment balcony.

Great location, nice and quiet, felt comfortable and homely. Had all the facilities required for a nice stay. Felt safe and an easy walk to the waterfront and local amenities. Nice recommendations from the owners in the welcome pack.

One of the bedrooms is an inner room without a window. It had an overhead fan and an extract vent to the outside, but not the same as having natural light and ventilation. There is not a lot of communication from the owners agent. There is no wine in the fridge as promised. No check out details or how to get to the outside pool. However, these are minor items that didn't distract from a lovely stay

This property is close to the V A waterfront and amazing restaurants. Location is fantastic. The apartment was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Burger was a joy to communicate with and was prompt in all responses. The security was top notch and helpful.

There were no issues with my stay.

Netflix subscription expired and was a hassle to get sorted out. Sofa upholstery has seen better days.

Very good location and very nice apartment and well equipped. View of table mountain were fantastic.

The check-in process was quite a nightmare as it's very unclear where to go (the location on Google is not even on the right side of the road) then you have to beg security to let you in for the owner to talk to them to open for you. This is very unsafe for the guests. There are 3 bathrooms, but you can only use 1 of them because the other two's toilets keep coming up when flushing. There were no dishwasher tablets or washing powder.
