Everything is pleasant and well organized. The location is excellent. We could easily drive to Stellenbosch, Table Mountain, Boulders Beach, and the Cape of Good Hope. Several good shopping malls are within a five-minute drive. The property is extremely well maintained. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms and shared kitchenette are very clean, and two of the rooms have lovely balconies. Our host Rita was a pleasure to meet and added to the overall charm of the place. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The firm mattress was extremely comfortable and we slept well when it was quiet. We really appreciated the delicious banana bread and little treats - such a thoughtful touch. The location was excellent and very convenient for us. The hosts are super responsive and accommodating.

Unfortunately, noise was an issue during our stay. While many other guests described the property as very quiet and peaceful, this wasn’t our experience. Our room door was located right by the kitchenette, and there was a lot of coming and going, which created quite a bit of noise. We were hoping for a restful couple of days after a very intense and busy week, but were woken up very early on Monday morning by someone cleaning the roof. This did detract from what would otherwise have been 10/10 stay. Perhaps we were just unlucky, as the reviews do suggest this is usually a peaceful place.
