Cosy Country Townhouse in Woodstock

It was a good location and v clean and warm.

We knew there wasn’t a log fire but it would have been lovely in a property like this to have one. There was very little room for coats, wellies(during the winter months) especially for 6 adults. There should be a night light in the attic room as it’s so difficult in the dark to move around due to so many levels. Very tight for 6 adults to sit in the lounge together.

Great location - easy walk into Woodstock - great communication with owner - immaculately presented - loved the special touch a Christmas tree in the lounge.

Was cold in kitchen as no heating area we attended when weather was exceptionally bad storms

Clean, cosy cottage within easy walking distance to the town and Blenheim palace. The kitchen is nice and spacious and I loved the loft room with the large bath.

The property states that it sleeps 8. We were a group of 5 and felt the property would only comfortably host 4 people with a small child.. The loft room and double room are nice rooms but my friends struggled in the rooms with single beds and had an uncomfortable night. The room with two single beds is only suitable for children. My friends legs hung over the ends of their beds (they are 5ft 6) and the door cannot be shut so you have no privacy. The room with the other single bed is high and very uncomfortable. If you had to use the trundle bed underneath this bed then the room would be very cramped. The bathroom on the first floor used for the 3 bedrooms is very small. It would be much nicer to have just two bedrooms on the first floor with an en suite for each rather than trying to cram in more guests in a house that doesn’t have a large enough living room or bathroom.

It was very convenient for walking to facilities.

Bedrooms generally small and attic bedroom restricted head room and steps became annoying. Mattresses need to be better quality. Front bedrooms suffer from road noise through night. Front door lock needs attention as difficulty getting key out of lock.

Very clean and well equipped

The position of the house in the main road. It also stated two twin rooms this is not correct. The one twin was a single bet with a pull out bed underneath which you couldn not close the door once out. Not ideal for us seniors
