Unbeatable Location - Walkable Entertainment

Location was good. Unit was not.

There was to be a code to enter the main building. The door was propped open with an old box (and effort would have to be made to actually close the door without the box, not sure why it was there). The unit had a door code but the door was very unsecure. Upon entering, we were met with a very dirty space with unsafe flooring and electrical. Mold, age-old dust, filthy rug, tuct tape holding the AC unit together , cobwebs in the fireplace, etc. The window blinds to the front porch where what seemed to be a gathering space for the entire building were not connected to the strings which made them uncloseable. This leaves whoever is sleeping on the twin beds (they are stacked in the photos... Unsure where we were to put the 2nd one) open to the front porch and the unsecure door. Not a comfy sleeping space for anyone... We did not stay at all. Went to a hotel. I understand that it's an old building but the photos are incredibly misleading. The host is now acting like this was a non-refundable booking which it was not. They were very responsive until I cancelled the booking. Do not stay here. I wish I had seen the review posted just before mine before I showed up there so here's a second warning... Do not book this.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. I arrived around 1 AM and immediately found the property in an unacceptable condition. There was visible mold, heavy dust accumulation, stains, damaged furniture, and multiple cleanliness issues throughout the unit. The actual condition did not match the listing photos or expectations for a property at this price point. Because it was very late at night, I had no choice but to stay the first night. However, due to the sanitary and health concerns, I could not continue staying for the remaining 2 nights of my reservation. I reported the issue immediately to Booking.com and provided photo evidence, but the property remained unresponsive throughout the process. Booking.com later confirmed they were unable to contact the host regarding the refund request. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I hope this feedback helps future guests make informed decisions.

The AC, location, building was great!

The neighbors stomping around and slamming doors until 1am kept us from sleeping but that was the only negative

Property was great, close to the stadium! Very clean and easy to find

Everything was great, but at 2:30 am the apartment above us started making lots of noise. Sounded like they were rearranging furniture for about an hour.
