The view from the balcony, and that the apartment was really quiet even though there was a fair amount of traffic outside.

one or two more couches in the living room would have lifted the indoor experience a lot. Now there was only one couch for 2-3 people, and since the apartment fits probably 10 people (we were 5) there is a big shortage of hang out possibilities.

Only gripe with the apartment would be the noise on the balcony. Does not affect sleep as beds are in the back of the apartment but sitting out on the balcony with the stunning views was disappointing because of traffic noise

The apartment is just as nice as the photos, if not nicer! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. It’s a 180 degree panorama of Valletta harbour and we watched the sun rise one morning as well (you have to be up early!) The bedroom layout suited us perfectly - we shared the master bedroom (which also has a balcony, perfect for drying clothes), the boys shared the twin bedroom and my daughter got the other double room. There is oodles of storage in all the bedrooms and the showers are powerful and hot. The noise from the traffic outside the balcony is a lot but we really didn’t mind. The location is very busy but it means you can easily get to shops and you’re a two minute walk from the ferries taking you to Valletta and even the tourist boats to Gozo/Comino. We loved it and would stay again!

Tiny thing - no draining board! Although there was a dishwasher.

Location is excellent, not far from the ferry and bus terminal, easy access to shops, supermarkets etc.

For me, luxury means pristine bedding (ours was not), decor should be up to scratch, bathrooms immaculate, complete complement of kitchenware, i.e. baking dishes, etc. I’m used to holiday accommodation being cleaned, change of towels, bedding etc. at least once during a week’s stay. We also had an issue with flooding in the ensuite shower (which was quite small) on the first evening but fixed promptly the following morning.
