Stockholm Archipelago House with shared pool

Jättefin stuga med allt man kan önska sig. Så tyst och lugnt, rogivande utsikt över all grönska. Vi sov jättebra! Värden var hjälpsam och trevlig. Vi hade till och med en egen uteplats! Jättebra att det är möjligt att åka buss hela vägen från stan om man vill.

Bra att veta är att det är två ganska branta trappor upp till ytterdörren. Min 85-åriga mamma tyckte att de var lite jobbiga.

We had an amazing time staying at Anders and Erika's rental. It was spacious but cosy and homely, clean and well presented, well equipped kitchen and other useful amenities. It was peaceful with very little noise around. The surrounding areas were great to explore, including the forest and bay. It was also a very easy drive to the shops and to connect to central Stockholm. Anders and Erika were great hosts, extremely personable and friendly. The use of their heated family swimming pool, trampoline and play area gave us and our daughter lots of entertainment. It was great to chat to Anders too, who clearly puts a lot into hosting - e.g., I mentioned that we were going for a walk whilst it was raining and without asking, Anders showed up with umbrellas for us, which was a great attention to detail. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing family holiday staying here.

Bed could be better.

The best accommodation near Avicii arena, with good connection. The host was very helpful, took great care of us, suggested many things to use the transport better, took care of the pool, allowed us to invite guests. Everything was great!

Anders and Erika are so kindly and helpful 😀. Thx for the friendly tips and your affort because of the Pool. We had sutch a nice Trip. The House in Archipelag was in the middle of swedish nature😀 in a quide neighbourhood. We like it 😀! And from Varmdö Maknad are the bus connections really good to Slussen to explore Stockholm. It was not the last Time in Sweden 😀! Don‘t forget to use the parking Disk and if necessary please registrate at the eparking System. Mostly without costs if you‘re registrate you 😉. Otherwise you will get a parking ticket. Hope we see us soon 🇸🇪 😀!

We liked the decoration of the property and the outside space. It was functional too, with a large coat and shoe stand on entry. The kitchen was modern and bright with sunshine. We liked the shared pool. The owners were very welcoming and switched on the water slide and provided inflatables for the pool. We liked the location-it felt like an idyllic place to bring up children. It was in the countryside, with a beautiful forest walk nearby. We saw a reindeer and a mouse! We liked exploring the village as it was very different to England. It was great to get up in the morning and eat breakfast outside on the terrace. The owner was very accommodating and allowed to us to have some family visitors to the property. My daughter and son also loved going on the trampoline. We also did a coastal walk to the beach. The buses run hourly so we took them to stock up on food at the local supermarket. We loved our stay and would go back.

Nothing.

The location was beautiful, and very peaceful. It was nestled on a small hill overlooking several other homes. We were never disturbed by heavy traffic noise, or other disturbances. The views of the surrounding hills were wonderful to bring in the day.

We wished for more pillows for sleeping. The beds were very comfortable, but we are accustomed to sleeping with several pillows. But this didn’t ruin our overall experience.
