Annapurna Guest House and Rooftop Restaurant

can't get any closer to durban square. super convenient to all the sights of bhaktapur. family who runs this guesthouse was lovely... one of the daughters spoke excellent english and the father very nice as well

slightly hard to find, but that's because google doesn't do a great job of mapping.

I liked the very friendly hotel staff, very thankful for my stay there. The hotel has an amazing view from the rooftop, where you can have a breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Very peaceful even if it’s central location, very kind family

I enjoyed my short stay here, you got see right onto the square - I had an perfect view of the pagoda. Obviously being so close to the square you could hear some traffic, people, bells ringing - I didn’t mind so much. My bathroom was quite small but it was clean. There is a restaurant on the roof, if you were stuck for somewhere to go - I had muesli there one morning which was nice. The staff are friendly and will help you out if you ask for it.

One of the nicest places I have stayed, anywhere in the world. Very warm, and especially kind, host family who gave me terrific insight into Nepalese life and traditions, not least the local delicious food. An amazing location, and easy to make side trips to Kathmandu and elsewhere from there. Thankyou to all at the Annapurna Guest House and Rooftop Restaurant, and Happy New Year!

Shower didn't work (sounded like temporary problem outside of building)
