The location itself is convenient and the listing photos initially appeared accurate.

This stay turned into a serious safety and access issue. After checking in and placing all of our belongings inside the unit, we stepped out briefly to get necessary medical supplies. During that time, the host canceled our reservation without warning and locked us out of the property, leaving all of our belongings — including critical medical items — inside. We were left outside with no access, no assistance, and no immediate resolution. Communication from the host was either delayed or non-existent during a time-sensitive situation. Additionally, the listing itself is misleading. The way it is advertised creates the impression of a straightforward private stay, but important details are buried or excluded, which significantly affects expectations versus reality. This situation created unnecessary risk, especially given that one of us has serious medical conditions requiring access to medication and stable accommodations.

"Awful experience. Awful Host"

We didn’t get the chance to check in to the unit. We had stayed in Vera’s unit across the hall the night before and rented unit this unit to extend our stay over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. When we arrived to check in after the parade we found someone was inside the unit. We tried for 2 hours to contact Vera and once we got in touch with her she assured us that a maintenance man would be on the way to let us in. So we waited another hour only to receive a text from Vera saying die to unfortunate circumstances she would not be able to host us. I have never had such a poor experience with a vacation rental. We had to get an uber and a hotel at 8pm on St. Patrick’s Day in Dallas. Never rent from her. Also the apartment the night before was very much lacking in cleanliness. There was a bag of trash left in the kitchen and the finishes are extremely outdated.

The only positive to this experience was the location but there are much better options. Don’t use this host.

"No hot water 2 of the 3 mornings we were there!!"

The location

The small apartment was fine for our 3 night stay while visiting our son who lives near by. But, the huge issue was not having hot water 2 of the 3 mornings . We got responses immediately from the property manager that they would put in a work order, however it took over 48 hours to get it fixed. We’re very disappointed that the property manager or Booking.com both refused any compensation. Booking.com told us to contact the property manager for compensation and the property manager told us to contact Booking. Com. Lots of finger pointing, but no compensation has been offered.

"Don’t book this place!"

The proper was in a safe area.

The host was completely rude and disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The extra linens were filthy. They stunk really bad and were crunchy. Also there were stains and soils on them.

"I didn't make the right choice...and the apartment is much too expensive for this quality."

not many things...maybe the bed, some small things from the kitchen and the cleanliness was correckt.

firstly, I never received an e-mail to receive the access code for the house! ...the message was in the Booking App ! ... the apartment was very different from the very modern photos seen on Booking.com,!!! .... the sofa is very ...worn, that I hurt my back after sitting a few minutes!!! and finally, the windows ... which are so thin that the noise in the evening until 11/12 pm and in the morning already at 05:00 am it s was unbearable !!! I would not recommend it to anyone

"A disappointing place, we regret it."

It was available. It was as described and orderly. The building was quiet almost all the time.

A classic “paint over dirt” arrangement. The person who took these photos deserves a raise and an award. First impressions, it’s small, cramped and our particular apartment (B) had some leveling issues, as the bedroom was at an obvious angle, everything kept rolling to one corner. There is MOLD in the bathroom on the ceiling in the shower. There were NO washer and dryer in the apartment, though it was advertised. The location has little to no appeal to families, unless you want to take your kids out drinking. The bed was small and stiff, and we did not sleep very well. The sofa bed was also very uncomfortable. I had to shake down the management for the deposit, almost a week after our stay. Also they only sent part of it back! We had a good time in Dallas, but this was definitely the worst part of our stay. I’d recommend staying AWAY from this listing. I have used similar services as I travel a lot for work, with great success, this one was by far the worst. Terrible apartment, terrible value. It’s bold of them to ask for a 100 DOLLAR CLEANING FEE. Get something better than this, or get a hotel!
