Heath Cottage Lower Southrepps north Norfolk

Very friendly and responsive hosts who live nearby and respond promptly to messages or phone calls. They went above and beyond by leaving us a vial of bubble bath and making up the stove for us. The cottage is beautiful, clean and comfortable, just as you would expect from the photos and reviews.

It's not easy to get a taxi from this property, Uber is not available and buses stop on Sundays.

Lovely countryside location with walks from the cottage. Near beaches and the broads. Well equipped, warm, comfortable and interesting furnishings and pictures. Spacious with an attractive garden. Kind and communicative host. All in all an ideal place for a ‘break’.

The cottage had everything we needed for a 3 night, new years celebration with friends and one dog. Two bathrooms, one downstairs and a nice ensuite upstairs. Excellent countryside kitchen facilities with a double oven and a cosy lounge and dining room. Plenty of different walks nearby for your dogs and a Waitrose 15 min drive. Cromer 20 mins away by car. We brought along a small folding dog fence to secure the back garden / side access from the front but it's a quiet road, so no issues at all. Would come again :)

Beautiful home, very well equipped. Close to the restaurants we had booked, both easily walkable. Comfortable beds. Lovely fire. Nice touches throughout.

The cottage was warm cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack of milk and other goodies was appreciated. Useful to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom.The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the oven easy to use. Situated in a lovely area lots of local walks which the dogs loved. Very close to two National Trust houses. Beaches and other attractions also short car journey away.

The only improvement would be a garden gate to keep dogs or children from venturing into next property.

A wonderful quirky cottage, in a tranquil setting. Heath cottage is perfect … home from home, traditional with modern accents. The owners have thought of everything and communication throughout was very quick and helpful. Heath cottage was spotlessly clean, with beautiful bedrooms, so comfy, lovely linen and towels. The cottage is old and so you would expect there are some slight steps up and down between rooms ( very small). My elderly parents managed to navigate them well and Mum has had a stroke. We appreciated the love and care that has gone into this cottage for guests to enjoy … we would recommend without hesitation. Also an added bonus that our dog could join us too … perfect for visiting Cromer/ Sherringham/Mundesley/Overstrand and Holt on the drive back. 5 🌟 from us. Thank you.
