Tideway Apartment with Private Parking Space

Perfect for our requirements and exactly as described and advertised. It was our golden wedding treat and was wonderful.The weather did help also.

Apartment was very nice and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The central location was great and the parking space was an added bonus.

The flat is attractive and well equipped with interesting views and parking. It is advertised as dog friendly. We inadvertently failed to mention we were bringing our small, well behaved dog. We were admonished for leaving dog hairs on the furniture, despite covering the sofa with our own throws.

We were looking for a peaceful break after some serious health issues. On the first night we were kept awake until 2.30am by loud music and voices in nearby accommodation. Not the relaxing stay we were hoping for. When I mentioned this to the owner when we got home, she suggested I should have contacted her (in the middle of the night) so she could knock on their door. I suggest doing this if you have a similar problem although locating the culprit may be a challenge.

The owner was very helpful when I rang with a few questions prior to the visit. Convenient location. The parking space was a boon.

This is a minor issue, but a rail to assist up the steps at the entrance would have been helpful as I had injured my knee shortly before the break.

Spotlessly clean and had all we needed and more, in a great location, and a private parking space, a big plus, biscuits and milk, tea coffee and sugar, on arrival was a lovely gesture, and able to have a nice cup of tea after a long journey, WiFi and freeview, nice comfortable bed, lounge area with dining table and view of the harbour, and steam train, very close to the centre of Whitby, but away from all the hustle and bustle and night life, close to the supermarket, so you can stock up and be self sufficient with the cooker, microwave etc all there for you, and every utensil you can think of, welcome book with all the info you need about the apartment and local places to eat, drink and even doctors, pharmacy and vets they’ve literally thought of it all, good communication from host throughout, and a text with clear check in instructions received 2 days before our stay, definitely would stay again and recommend x
