Breakfast was filling...There was personalized and excellent care taken by Caretaker Meiji and her Team ....The location of the Villa was slightly difficult to locate initially ,but later we got our directions right...

"Beautiful & Authentic Tamil Nadu"

Stay here if you want to experience authentic Tamil Nadu. The remote location, lack of public transport links and simplicity of the village may not be for everyone but that said, we loved our stay here. We were there during the Pongal festival and the entire village embraced us and were thrilled that we joined in with their celebrations. We were invited into people's homes and even blessed their animals with them. The property itself is beautiful and very tranquil. The food was the best that we had in Tamil Nadu and our hosts, Meji and Mukesh, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay and experience there.

A couple of things that other reviews have already mentioned - the floor is in the bathroom is very, very slippery when wet as are the cobble stones in the courtyard (covered in moss). The next door property is empty and looks to be used as the village dumping ground for rubbish, which is unsightly. All these issues can be easily resolved, I do not know why they haven't been already as they have been previously reported.

"Perfect hosts in a beautiful house."

We loved it! It is the place for a perfect stay in rural, peaceful Tamil Nadu. The beautifully renovated historic house is overlooking the temple tank. Meju was the perfect host. The entire team was amazing. The traditional South Indian meals prepared by her mother-in-law were delicous! We cannot wait to come back.

We enjoyed everything.

"Nice house but very remotely located and very noisy at the time we visited"

Nicely maintained small property with 4 rooms. Lovely staff to cook and look after us.

It’s located in a corner of a village with a garbage dump right next to it, it’s pretty far from all the temple towns so didn’t quite see the point of staying here. Also, do not visit Tamil Nadu from mid Dec to mid Jan - you will be woken up by blaring music from temple speakers esp in this property. Not worth it
