Agastya Ubud Villa

the villa itself is beautiful, we loved having the private pool and the staff were so polite and helpful. also a really great location, you can easily get to everything you want to within 5-15 minutes but it’s also situated in a quieter area so it was good to get away from the busy streets once you get back to the room. beautiful views too so i would highly recommend!

it’s inevitable that there will be bugs/insects so it was a constant effort to keep all doors closed so they didn’t get in, but they did anyways haha. but the staff do come by every evening to put down a mosquito repellent thing! didn’t love the fact that the bathroom was outside but we did get used to it over time.

We stayed at Agastya Villa after a very disappointing experience at another property in Ubud, and the difference was incredible. Agastya Villa offers exactly what you expect from a proper jungle retreat – peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The villa was spotless and fresh, with no sign of insects or reptiles inside the room, despite being in the heart of the jungle. The structure was solid, the roof and doors were perfectly sealed, and we felt completely safe and comfortable during our entire stay. The bed was very comfortable with clean, crisp linens, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and plenty of hot water – something we really appreciated after our previous stay elsewhere. What also made a big difference was the staff. They were polite, discreet, and always available when needed, without being intrusive. There were no excessive “do not” signs around the villa – the whole place felt welcoming and relaxing. If you are looking for an authentic jungle experience in Ubud without sacrificing comfort, hygiene, or peace of mind, I highly recommend Agastya Villa. It is clear that the owners care about maintaining high standards. We left feeling rested, happy, and very satisfied. Would definitely come back!

everything was perfect

This was absolutely stunning everything was perfect the attention to detail was spot on, it was about a 10 min grab right to the town where there were lots of restaurants, bars and shops there were also some really nice food places along the road we stayed on and a little supermarket for essentials

Slightly out of town but that was great when we wanted to have a quiet evening, just a short walk to the centre of Ubud to find restaurants and other amenities. Lots of things to do locally. Traffic through Ubud is insane until later at night

This was the most perfect villa for a romantic getaway. Wonderful staff, spectacular private pool overlooking the jungle, loved the outdoor bathroom, beautiful bed with nice cool air conditioning, and several food options within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ubud.

Peaceful

My garden view villa was lovely for two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious, the outdoor bathroom wonderful. I particularly enjoyed having my meals at my table in the garden area next to the pool. It was just a quick taxi into Ubud central which was arranged by the staff.
