Stayed in Goto-I house. It was compact, perfect for our family with small kids. Very clean, nice garden. And Nicholas was a perfect host.

House was amazing! For 50 euros a night, we got a spacey, clean house all to ourselves, with every facility you could need or want; you could practically live here. A lovely onsen-but-not-really-onsen, spacey shower rooms and clean toilet rooms with those control panel toilets. A terrace and a garden, a kitchen with everything you'd need. Do your groceries before you come to the hostel as there are no konbinis or grocery stores within walking distance. If you are looking for restaurants you'll have to travel north to Goto as well. The location is beautiful, right next to a quaint port inside of the village. You'll basically be the only tourists in the area as this is the only stay in this part of the island. It's only a few minutes from the beaches to the west and a few minutes from mount Onidake which were the highlights of my trip so far. It's located a little far from Goto, but if you have a car or even bycicle it's no problem at all. You can get back and forth by bike within 45 minutes, and the bikes were rented to us by the owners who even gave us a discount since we were bimbo college students. They also picked us up from the ferry port when we missed our boat and arrived after buses stopped going. They also provided us with tons of information about the surroundings and things to do. I can and will come back to the island and Ako house.

The location was a little difficult without a driver's license but biking through the beautiful hilly countryside enhanced the trip to be honest. It's not for the faint hearted however!

Hosts are very helpful and heartful. They have cheaper rent car compared with rental company and pick me up in the port and bring me back to the port when we go back. They can help us booking some marine activity and take me to the wonderful journey. That was an amazing trip ever. Thanks!!

Absolutely perfect guest house. super kind host, super clean toilet-bathroom, super old tree, close to sea, coffee, electric bicycle, etc etc etc. I already miss two of host and Fukue island. 😂 (one more: MUST SEE OSEZAKI LIGHT HOUSE!)

If you dont have car or license(like me), just give up the travelling in Fukue island. 😂 there are only FEW buses. (Thats why every resisent have a car)
