The apartment is located on the first semi-basement floor. There is an unpleasant musty smell of mold in the space. It feels damp and stuffy, and there are no windows, so it’s impossible to ventilate. The mattress is terrible — it feels like you’re lying in a hole.

I am extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the host, Giulia. Her perfectionism and attention to design and detail are evident in every corner of this apartment. The space, with a height of about 5-6 meters, has been maximized and transformed into something resembling a loft. You can definitely see the touch of an experienced designer here. No expense has been spared— from the premium Living Now series switches and outlets by the leading brand Bticino, to the Daikin air conditioner with its outdoor unit cleverly integrated into the façade. From the designer (and likely expensive) lamp above the round table to the unique glass floor/ceiling that divides the space into two levels. The glass is exceptionally strong—probably tempered and double-layered. The structure itself consists of massive steel beams, which, in my opinion, are extremely solid and reliable. There is a high-end Sony TV, very well-thought-out lighting throughout, and a spacious walk-in closet. Beyond being a great place for a romantic getaway and relaxation, this apartment is also ideal for business travelers who need a fast and stable internet connection! I tested it and found an impressive speed of 1.5 Gbps for both download and upload. The street is very quiet and close to some of the top 10 best-rated restaurants in famous rankings. The location is highly strategic—about a 15-minute walk from the main city center and 17 minutes from Catania’s central bus and train station.

There is absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

It was a pleasure staying in this beautiful apartment in the heart of Catania, and I can say without hesitation that it is one of the best I have ever tried in the city. The location is just perfect: a few steps from the historic center, and as close to Corso Italia, business center of Catania. The apartment itself is a jewel of luxury and comfort. Every detail has been treated with taste and attention, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Excellent quality of materials and furnishings. I was so impressed by the design that I even asked for the architect’s number. You breathe a passion for beauty and meticulous attention to detail that make this accommodation really unique. In short, a stay that has exceeded all my expectations. Proud to have been the 4th guest of the apartment because it is open from very little.
