Eco House

Very friendly and kind host who welcomed us with kachapuri and wine. Nice view from the balcony to Batumi. Beds and towels available for 4-person family. Very reasonable price. All the plants and garden make great atmosphere and vibe. Quiet area. It is a bit higher up the hill than marked on booking map (definitely not 400m distance to the sea) but it was not a problem because we had a car.

I did not realise it will be so old (all the furniture etc). Looking at the pictures I expected a bit more. There is no dishwasher so the dishes were not so clean (probably cleaned manually by previous guests but not so well). There were no wine glasses at all which is surprising for a wine country, only 2 regular glasses (for a 4 person family), so kids need ed to drink their juice or water from tiny vodka glasses. There was camera on the terrace in our private area which we were not informed about, we spotted it after 2 days. We would prefer to be informed in advance to be more careful not to let kids run naked on the balcony or just simply watch our steps more (dress a bit more) when sitting on the balcony or in the leaving room. Even if it for our safety (it was 1st floor) this camera watching us was not comfortable without any explanation.

it is a bit off the traffic and the hectic city. it lies on a green hill and from the forth floor, where our apparent was, you can see the whole city and the beach. downhill is a cute beach. the balcony is huuuge and you can enjoy sunset and sunrise there. the flat it self is spacious, bright and very clean. and the host is very very welcoming and helpful. we felt super comfortable and homey. i wish we could have stayed longer. thanks for the great time!

We loved our compact, quiet and cosy flat on a hill with beautiful balcony views towards the sea and the distant Batumi. The aircon is in the sitting room only, but the bedroom gets cool very quickly. There is a carefully and lovingly tended garden and a veranda for the guests. The nearest beach is downhill and across the road, but there are two more developed beaches within a short drive; our preference was the beach below the Botanic Gardens. All the beaches in Makhinjauri are very clean. Carrefour supermarket is just downhill from the house, in the main road, but in a square about 10 min walk further there there are 3 or 4 food stores, 2 pharmacies, a wine shop, a cafe with a nice selection of dishes, fruit stalls and, best of all, freshly-baked bread, khachapuri, kubdari, potato bread and much, much more in the two bread stalls. Downtown Batumi is about 15 min drive. In our view, Makhinjauri is an ideal location to explore both Batumi and surrounding Ajarian hills, while enjoying the clear sea. We could not have dreamed of more gracious hosts: Iraklyi and Nati's hospitality won us over. On arrival we were treated to an amazing hot home-made khachapuri; there was a big bottle of spring water in the fridge, along with lemonades and a selection of superb cakes. Communication was quick and efficient, so we got answers to all our questions promptly. Highly commended!

Апартаменты соответствуют фотографиям и описанию на 100% Чисто, есть все необходимое, светло, кондей справляется отлично, санузел прекрасный. Среди всех гостеприимных хозяев мира наша заняла бы точно первое место. Оплата - когда удобно, заезд и выезд - когда удобно, нас забрали с вокзала и привезли прямо к дому, нам помогли купить билеты на поезд обратно, поскольку белорусская карта лагала, все вопросы решались мгновенно, на все просьбы мы получали помощь. При заезде получили от хозяюшки комплемент в виде идеального хачапури и других вкусностей в холодильнике - крайне приятно! С номера открывается роскошный вид на море, вечерний Батуми и закаты. Хотелось бы еще отметить расположение. При выборе жилья очень сомневались в данном размещении, поскольку муж переживал, что будем лезть на гору а я хотела жить у самого моря. И в результате мы оба были максимально удовлетворены выбором. Подъем и спуск к морю плавный и живописный, а расстояние от него идельное для того, чтобы наслаждаться видами, но при этом не мучаться от шума оживленной автомобильной и железной дороги, которые находятся вплотную к пляжу. Важно учесть, что море и пляж значительно чище и лучше, чем в самом Батуми, однако не оборудован зонтами и шезлонгами. Мы ездили на пляж рядышком за пару лари на такси, но можно и пешком Вспоминаем с любовью и благодарностью

Были приятно удивлены радушием и гостеприимностью хозяев :) Описание жилья соответствует реальности. Ираклий и Надя, большое вам спасибо за удавшийся отпуск! :)

В районе начинается застройка высотками, загораживающими живописные виды на море и горы, но это сейчас во многих городах.

Wonderful calm location, great views from the balcony and a very comfortable flat with all you need for a good vacation. In addition, Natia and Marina were such great hosts, treating us with cake, delicious homemade Khachapuri and even grapes.

The accomodation is great, we were very glad to stay. Quiet location. Host is very kind and helpful. She will contact you via Whats app and help with all you need. She organized a taxi to train station for us (on Saturday morning by herself - thank you Nadia). We had lovely cakes and juice in the fridge upon arrival and were given free katchapuri the other day. Spacious rooms. Very nice terrace from which you can see the see and Batumi city. We recommend the accomodation to everyone!

The location shown on Booking is not correct and is misleadidng. The address is Amagleba Street 21a. It is easy walking distance to the see (ca 700m, 10 minutes) and at the end it was an advantage as the location is very nice and quiet.
