Rose Hill

Lovely property with great garden space and hard to find parking for three cars. Walking distance into town centre.

The only problem for us was that we were three adults needing three rooms and the small room has a small child’s bed with an uncomfortable mattress. This was not highlighted on the website details. The host did kindly make up the single bed in the lounge which one of us did actually use but not ideal.

This is a beautifully finished property. The kitchen in particular is amazing-probably the nicest kitchen we have ever had experienced with really high spec equipment. It is a welcoming, cosy environment that suited us perfectly as we past through Shropshire. The decor and personalised touches are evident throughout. The sitting room is very cosy. Bathrooms finished to a high standard. Great off street parking which was great for loading up the car. Location is good, about 10 minutes walk into the town. Host was communicative and quick to reply.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 10 week old daughter. Unfortunately, as my husband was preparing to put her down in the provided cot, the cot collapsed (she was not in it at the time luckily). A more appropriate travel cot is needed. While the glass at the back is stunning, blinds are needed as the room gets very hot. There was no first aid kit. Having to strip the beds and put out the bins is not what we’re used to when staying at a property. I had to empty the dishwasher when we arrived as the previous guests’ dishes were in there! There was no fan provided, it was extremely hot while we were visiting and a fan is definitely needed. I do not think the property is child friendly.

Beautifully decorated and furnished fabulous location a short walk the park the pub and the centre.

Beautiful modern cottage in a lovely location close to town. Bi fold doors leading onto sunny decking area. 3rd bedroom is only suitable for small child , so would class this as 2 bedrooms. We loved the contemporary design and would definitely return. Great communication. Thanks

The location, local pub was walking distance with really nice yummy food. Clean and tidy with everything included.

The location was ideal for exploring Shrewsbury town by foot. It was within walking distance of several places to eat. It was a beautiful property with focal kitchen area.

There seemed to be lots of rules, we have never been asked to strip beds and empty bins before a departure before. The dishwasher was full on arrival and had food debris at the bottom.

We loved the French doors and the beautiful view out the back. The secure off‑street parking was a major benefit. The kitchen and living areas had excellent lighting, and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The bed was comfortable, and the property offered plenty of space. The second room with the TV was especially useful because it could be made darker. We also appreciated having a proper coffee maker, which made our mornings easy after struggling with this at other places. This was our favorite stay of our entire three‑week trip to England—clean, well supplied, and very easy to feel at home in. We would definitely choose more places like this in the future.
