Samui Camping Farm

I absolutely loved my stay and definitely will be visiting again. The camp is very well thought out and is not a shoddy work to simply make money on tourists, a ton of small details speak to this, and I really appreciated them. Of course, it's not perfect in everything, nothing is, but you can see someone dedicated time and love to designing and organising everything here. It's situated in a lovely secluded place not too far from the beach and you can actually walk to a few cafes, beach bars etc. The road that will get you to Lamai is not far away, so you can always take a Grab there if you need to buy something, experience nightlife or discover a beach on the other side of the island. The beach that belongs to the resort is OUTSTANDING and very cosy. Honestly, everything fades in comparison and I probably won't be able to enjoy other beaches from now on and will only be able to stay here on Samui. It has everything you might need - all sorts of bean bags (I'm a particular fan of those, esp. leather ones), loungers, tables and chairs, nice and well-kept toilets, hammocks, a beach bar that also serves food, even WiFi and a warm shower with shampoo. It's tidied up every day and very clean. True, it's not great for swimming because of the reef, but you can still manage if you're mad about getting into water like me. Personally, I much prefer this quiet and cozy beach to bigger beaches like Lipa Noi. Everything at the camp is also lovely. I liked the design pieces there, such as the chairs at the reception, and the fact that they're constantly replacing old items or bringing in new ones. My hut was just a dream, I got so used to it that just didn't want to leave. They're keeping the place clean. The washing machines are good. They wash and dry laundry properly. The toilets are hosed down every day. Repairs aren't immediate, but as quick as possible.

There are a couple things that could be worked on in particular. 1) The cabins could be easily transformed into what I could consider luxury cabins. I understand they are pre-fab, but if only there was a way to add just 1-2 sq.m of space to them (so that a person can stand there comfortably and do some exercising or maybe add a tiny desk). It would make a huge deal of difference. One guy I met at the camp suggested making the beds foldable, so you can fold it against the wall during the day and this will give you plenty of space for your daytime activities. 2) There is a bit of a barking problem. If there's a dog staying at the camp (such as a stray dog), they protect the territory and bark at night. This seriously needs to be managed. At my request it was, but I spend many nights with huge sleep problems because of that, and I don't think that stray animals belong at a hotel, though the dog was lovely. Also, the fridge isn't cleaned regularly and could be bigger for the amount of people here. There are also problems when you're trying to wash your clothes by yourself- this is not really thought through, so if someone wants to manage their washing by themselves and control the modes and cycles of the machine, it's going to be a lot of hassle. These are the small details.

The camping farm has a very cool vibe, it definitely feels off grid and like an authentic experience. The kitchen and hangout facilities are very good and the toilets and showers were fine as well

As there was no fan in the tent it was very hot at night, but for such a cheap price it’s worth it
