Almare Guest House Siquijor

Great location, with access to ocean right of the back of the guest house, which we were so lucky to see turtles with the guidance of Kimmy, one of the staff members, we were able to lend snorkelling free of charge which was great, the guest house offers a great location for affordable restaurant and mini markets to get water and snacks.

Bathroom was a small wet room, which we struggled to get dry throughout our trip due to the humidity. Due to no fault of the guest house it’s self we had some power cuts on the island on our last night, however this meant the room became very hot due to not being able to use the fan.

Amazing location- right next to Tubod Marine Sanctuary and they provide free snorkelling gear!

Location-wise, I’d only recommend to those with motorbikes as it’s far away from the main town where the restos and bars are. Trikes will charge you 300php or so for a single trip to town so it’s spenny.

I like how hospitable the staff were and we experienced snorkeling because the beachfront is a very good spot for diving. Saw a lot of fishes and some turtle. Amazing!

The food especially the pasta were amazing. You can also get lessons to free diving in an affordable price and the instructor is very welcoming. All the staffs and owners were so nice to us, definitely recommended.

The owner is super nice, the pasta dish were delicious and the location is just perfect. You can snorkel at the house reef.

From time to time there's a brownout, which is beyond their control. But above all it's all good, we'll be back.
