Elephant Orphanage Edge Hotel

A truly royal room (the name of the hotel does not lie). Large, spacious, with a separate luxurious bathroom and high ceilings, air conditioning, all the amenities and a huge double bed. A wonderful place for its price to stay overnight and go on a safari in the morning. I would have stayed longer, but there was nothing to do in this region except for safari

Exceptionally helpful and attentive staff. They make us feel like we are staying in our home. The room is spotless clean and comfortable. The room had good air conditioning and a modern , clean bathroom with hot water. Madhusanka and Dhanushka was very helpful to find options to charge my EV. Went beyond their limits and getting down power extension was very kind of them. Thank you so much for that extraordinary support which made my return journey to Colombo easy as I was able to charge my vehicle with my EVSE.

Super friendly people, verry helpfull and did everything to give us a good experience. Location is perfect next to the Udawalawe national park (10 minutes from entrance by jeep), 2 good restaurants within 100m (one has a pool where you can swim 1000rp adult 500rp childeren) and also within 100m from the Elephant transit home. Breakfast good, we stayed 2 knights and had 2 different breakfast. Beds good, hot shower good, wifi always worked but is a little slow. They arranged a jeep safari for us and it was also verry nice, We had a good and super friendly driver and the jeep for our self (family of 4) So we surely reccomend!

Really nice hosts. They organized a safari for us which was amazing. Especially they like to organize you a safari but you don’t have to.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
