RUThe place is new, spacious and very clean. I stayed on the top floor with a balcony and a view over the rice fields, it was amazing! The owner was very friendly and helpful. There are some cafes nearby and you can also go to a steam sauna in Dragonfly village, 2 min away from the hotel. It's a narrow road from the main street, and the owner helped me bring my luggage. Also he helped me book the transfer from the airport. In general, the place is conveniently located just a few minutes from the center of Ubud, yet in a quiet place away from the crowds.
I found the sounds of nature a bit disturbing at night (frogs in particular). Also there's some construction work going on nearby and it was a bit noisy on some days — but that's temporary.
USI stayed in the upstairs room of this simple two-story villa tucked away in a peaceful, scenic part of Ubud. The room was large, clean, and comfortable—exactly what I needed. The villa is surrounded by rice paddies and yoga studios, with stunning views of both sunrise and sunset. While there’s no direct car access, it’s a beautiful walk, and the host was incredibly helpful in assisting with luggage transport upon arrival. What truly made this place stand out was the incredible hospitality. The family who runs it also operates a small shop nearby where they hand-paint gorgeous traditional masks—a lovely cultural touch. Throughout my stay, they went above and beyond: helping with laundry on a tight schedule before my flight, dropping it off at my villa, and even picking me up multiple times from the car access point during a few hectic days when I was supporting a friend who had a medical emergency. They were always kind, reliable, and made me feel completely safe. This is a simple, no-frills place with a lot of heart. Perfect for travelers looking for peace, beauty, and the kind of warm hospitality that stays with you long after you’ve left. Highly recommend—10/10!
