Villa Tori by BaliSuperHost

I had an amazing stay at this property for 5 days. The villa was very well maintained and everything was kept in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to our villa host, Ayuni, who was extremely supportive and checked in with us daily about cleaning and any requirements. We checked in late at 3:00 am, and the staff was waiting for us with a warm welcome and drinks, which made us feel comfortable right away. We also tried the spa service in our villa, which was a wonderful experience. Another big plus is the location – there are many good cafés nearby, along with grocery stores, car and scooter rentals, all easily accessible.

The only thing I felt could be improved was the breakfast options. We tried it for one morning, and while the food was good, there weren’t many choices available. Since most of us were vegetarian, having a few more vegetarian options on the menu would have made it much better.

The location looking over the rice terraces. It was very close to the best cafe Waybu just 1 minute walk away. Close to Titi Batu. The property had a roomy feel with a very nice pool. Also the staff were wonderful. Ayuni was so efficient and anything you wanted or needed was supplied very fast. Gaps on walls to let critters in. No tea towels. Not enough pillows. Only one per person. Aldo the beds were rock hard. We actually didn’t sleep great but didn’t let it ruin our stay. The drinking water was supplied. There was space for scooter parking too.

The air con didn’t work in the lounge area. The dining and kitchen are downstairs while living is upstairs. There isn’t any window covering for upstairs living room so you get the full hot sun beating in and cannot watch tv or relax. Bathroom had a smell in it and one of the bathroom flooded and the water reached the bedroom.

Furnishing was good, pool was nice, staff services for housekeeping was good and generally clean. Ameneties were well stocked, location was very central to Ubud.

Host experience wasn't great. Vendor services ( laundry and private chef ) was really really bad. Laundry was given to us half wet, and caused the other clean clothes to be wet. Worse part they included a doctor's uniform in our laundry. It was someone else's clothes. Whoever that person is , is now missing a set of uniform. Private Chef dinner at 450k Rupiah was using pre-cooked food, and had stapler in the kuih. Really disappointed. BaliSuperHost is a very very well marketed and highly commercialize organisation. I suspect they will not like to hear about this.

Amazing villa, everything in very good quality, love the outdoor area with the pool as well.

Very week WIFI signal, didn even reach the TV upstairs.

Great Property! Beautiful layout, rooms were pretty spacious and cozy. The staff were phenomenal, big shout out to Ayuni for taking great care of us and Chandra for being our personal driver during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again soon!

Some of the rooms had an odor in the bathroom, I assume it’s from the sewerage.
