Ijen Haus

The Owner of this homestay is very friendly, it's a newly renovated old house. The room is not too big but very comfortable. The living room area has an old vibes that make me feel at home.

Besides being a very comfortable accommodation the staff at Ijen Haus were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged at the last moment for me to join a group to visit the Ijen Crater. When an online train ticket vendor would not accept my payment method they offered to purchase the ticket for me and I reimbursed them!

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like.

Spacious room and very comfortable bed. The A/C works very well and there is a clean kitchen at disposal. Also, the common room is very cosy. As it was Ramadan when we were there, we bought yummy food from the market and eat at the homestay. It felt really like home. This was our third stay at Ijen Haus and we would go back there should we come back to Banyuwangi.

That we had to leave. I was very sad 😔

The rooms are very comfy, good AC and lots of storage. The common room is very cosy and furnished as if it were a private home. The homestay is within walking distance to lots of restaurants and a great coffee shop. On top of everything, the staff is very friendly and attentive.
