Fabulous location right on main square. Comfortable seating area

When we booked it there was supposed to be wifi in the room, which has now been removed. Also there are no places to hang towels in the bathroom. Even the toilet paper holder is gone. Appears to be a recent remodel with final touches left incomplete. Too bad; fix those problems and the place is a ten star bargain

There was no Wifi connection and no instructions

The location is fantastic! It was great to be at the heart of the city, with access to the main attractions, restaurants, bars and the waterfront. As it is positioned literally within a stones-throw to the Piazza, it made accessing the waterfront for a walk/jog very easy. The parking station is 3 minutes walk away, so getting bags to/from the apartment was very easy. We were given a discount code for the car-park from our hosts. The apartment is on the 4th floor, with a lift, so you can look down at the daily/nightly action, look across the piazza at the tourists and out to the water, look out and up to the sky, and still have the comfort of not needing to drag bags up/down stairs. The mainly room felt light and airy, with 3 large double windows with 180-degree views. I was traveling with a family member who had the sofa-bed in the living room. The windows there are single-glaze, yet falling asleep was apparently OK. I was in the main room and it was very quiet (double glazed windows). Very good sized apartment, so we had plenty of space for everything. The windows all have black-out blinds, which were great for blocking out the early morning sun. Having the kitchenette was fantastic! We prepared breakfast and lunch each day (ate dinner out each night). As the location was perfectly positioned, after morning activities, we could stop back up in the apartment, fix lunch, and relax a little before heading back out for the afternoon activities. The heating is controlled by a central thermostat, with individual heater controls, so the temperature in the apartment was controlled by us, and was perfect. The apartment may need a fan for summer, yet not sure what the temperature gets like there in warmer months. Communication from our host was excellent from start to finish. If/wen we visit Trieste next time, we will be sure to stay here again!

No Wifi (yet). The hosts have only recently renovated the apartment, so at the time of staying, we didn't have Wifi. It is my understanding that this will be added at some stage. As we had plenty of EU mobile roaming data, it didn't affect us at all, we streamed and did a 'hotspot' to our laptops. Key collection is at a restaurant about 5 minutes walk away, would help if it was a little closer.
