"Great view and location to do some walking ."

Beautiful view from the patio and lovely staff .

It’s a little far from Ella , you can walk along the train track , it takes around 30 minutes but maybe not in the dark . The room was a little dated , it doesn’t look like the photos and we didn’t have hot water . The staff were lovely and for the price with breakfast this is still great value.

The location is very nice with a nice view from the top. There are birds on the garden to watch. The breakfast and dinner was also very satisfying. The host family was very friendly

"My best experience in Sri Lanka"

The place is really calm, you hear the birds singing, so in touch with nature. The hosts are exceptional, very kind and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious and very big 😋 The view is beautiful with trees all around. It is definitely my best experience so far!

We liked this place because it is a family run guesthouse, the hosts are exceptionally hospitable, the room well presented and clean, is in a very quiet location, and dinner and breakfast was really top quality. On the garden patio there are beaut views across the valley to Ella Rock and lots of birds including hornbills. The location suited us as it is just a 100m walk from Kithal Ella station, which avoids the arrival hassle of downtown Ella. There are nearby cafes along the rail line to town.
