Cool Banyan Cabana

Fantastic location and everything we needed with welcoming hosts. It was exactly as described on booking.com. We nearly cancelled our stay as we thought it would be too hot but we are very glad we came to trincomalee

It was loud in the night with the sounds of animals (the squirrels were loud one night but we didn’t hear them the second night)

Really nice stay, cute little cabanas and perfectly located. 5 minutes to the beach front and Fernando‘s Beach Market. Owners are really nice and helpful too! Clean sheets and beds.

El colchón y almohadas han sido los más cómodos del viaje y con el A/C dormimos genial. Está a un minuto a pie de la playa y hay muchas opciones de restaurantes. El propietario es muy amable.

Es verdad que se escucha un poco si el vecino hace ruido, o cuando pasa algún tuktuk o moto.

We initially booked this place for 3 nights, but ended up staying 6 — and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision! The accommodation was absolutely perfect: very clean, the beds are super comfortable, and located in a peaceful setting and a 5min walk to the beach. A special thank you to Priyantha, our host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! He was always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. His warm hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a place that’s clean, relaxing, and hosted by someone who genuinely cares about your stay, this is it. We would gladly come back anytime. Highly recommended!

Very kind and warm people. The accommodation was as shown in the images and is really close to the beach and to the restaurants. Definitely recommended for short but also longer stays!

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms at a very affordable price. Excellent location too, right by a mini-market, the beach and eateries . The host was very accommodating and allowed me an early check-in. I would recommend this place to both solo travellers and couples.
